A site map (or sitemap) is a list of URLs on a site that tells search engines about the structure of its content.
Squarespace 5 doesn't automatically create a site map. However, you may not need one. Your site has many built-in features that help optimize it for search engines.
If you'd like to create a site map:
- Visit Google's documentation and follow their steps for creating an .xml file.
- Upload the file to your file storage.
- Use a URL shortcut to remove the /storage slug from its URL.
Note: The XML Sitemap won't update automatically. When you make structural changes to your site, manually create a new site map and replace the file on your site.
