In Squarespace 5, you can drag and drop pages, widgets and sections in Structure mode, or in your site's Architecture area. There are benefits to each option:
- Structure mode - See what the change looks like on your live site.
- Architecture area - Make changes to any part of your site, including hidden components.
Tip: Each section of your site can contain either pages or widgets. It isn't possible to add pages and widgets to the same section.

Structure mode
Enter Structure mode and click and hold any page link, widget, or sidebar section until its border turns orange. Then drag it to the new location.
While dragging, your cursor turns into a multi-directional arrow.
Architecture area
In the Website Management area, click Architecture. Then click and hold any page link, widget, or section and drag it to the new location. While dragging, your cursor turns into a multi-directional arrow.
Tip: The top section in Sidebar 1 can only contain page links. It creates your top navigation.
